Manoj Apte Joins Attivo Networks® Board of Directors

20-Year Cyber Security Veteran to Provide Expertise and Counsel as Company Continues Growth and Momentum

FREMONT, Calif. — June 1, 2021 — Attivo Networks®, the leader in lateral movement attack detection and privilege escalation prevention, today announced that Manoj Apte, former chief strategy officer Zscaler has joined the company’s Board of Directors. As a board member, he will be tasked with providing counsel on messaging, positioning and integration with partnerships for the organization.

“Manoj is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in product development and go-to-market strategy,” said Tushar Kothari, CEO of Attivo Networks. “We are honored to have him join our board and have complete confidence in his counsel as we rapidly accelerate growth and build momentum. His support further validates the direction that Attivo has taken.”

“Identity is and remains the beachhead for all cybersecurity attacks, said Manoj Apte, board member of Attivo Networks. “To address this challenge, Attivo Networks has been thoughtfully evolving its platform to focus more broadly than its core deception area. I look forward to helping the team as they continue to expand into identity protection, Active Directory protection and augment endpoint security.”

Mr. Apte has over 20 years of experience in running product management, sales enablement, marketing, forging strategic partnerships and delivering industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. During his 13-year tenure at Zscaler, he was a notable player in the growth of the company and ultimately responsible for defining its cloud security platform and service offerings. He holds a Ph.D. in computational engineering (machine learning) from Mississippi State and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
